I stopped by a Beer & Wine store on my way home from work this evening. After a bit of browsing, I make my selection and head for the counter. Off to the side is a woman who's been filling in lottery tickets since I walked in. (Or scratching them off. Whatever it is you do with lottery tickets. I don't know. I don't play and I wasn't paying that much attention and it's not important.) She looks at my selection. Then she looks me in the eye, says "Excellent choice" with a grin and goes back to her tickets.

I've been home for an hour now and have consumed half of it. The experience has confirmed what probably doesn't even need to be said: Women that hang out in Beer & Wine stores really know what the hell they're talking about. My higher intellect tells me that's a blatant over-generalization, yet at the moment I remain convinced of my correctness.
